Olathe, Kansas January 17, 2002: Sam
Mansker, General Manager of Olathe Ford Sales, announces the dramatic expansion
of Olathe Ford.
Olathe Ford has been the largest automobile
dealership of any make of vehicle in metropolitan Kansas City and the state
of Kansas for the past 8 years. It is presently the 30th largest Ford retail
dealer in the United States and number one Nationally in Ford Commercial
Accounts, but surrounding businesses and residences have kept Olathe Ford
from further expanding service and sales.
To allow Olathe Ford to grow, the owners of
Olathe Ford sold Olathe Lincoln-Mercury on January 4th.
The additional space will allow for the following
expansion and major remodeling improvements:

21 additional service bays to allow faster and more efficient service

Expand the service write up area by 50%.

Add 6 Fast Lube bays for oil changes in under 20 minutes for all makes
and models.

Expanded used car lot and much larger used car building, creating the largest
used car operation in the city.

Expand and remodel sales, service, parts, cashier, customer waiting area
and new car show room.

Add 6 more Body Shop work bays.
The expansion and coming improvements to Olathe
Ford mean that our customers can look forward to even more of the service,
selection and low prices that they have come to expect in the past 29 years.
Most of the technicians and employees of Olathe
Lincoln-mercury have stayed on with Olathe Ford, and past customers are
