Keith Stokes'
Washington DC Trip
November 2007
Crystal City Metro stop
Saturday morning my
first stop was the White House, where I took photos of the front, rear
and the National Christmas Tree, then walked over to the Washington Monument
where I had reserved a 9 AM tour. Folks had been waiting since well before
the opening time and I was the last one there for 9 AM time slot. The wait
on the hill at the base of the Washington Monument was windy and cold.
The only time I was cold all weekend.
