This privately chartered Straits of Mackinac Winter Flight was taken on March 8, 2014 to photograph Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, St. Ignace, the Mackinac Bridge and lighthouses with the Ice and snow.

This first page of photos is devoted to Mackinac Island, Michigan. Mackinac Island was America's 2nd National Park and later became Michigan's 1st State Park. A summer resort where automobiles are not permitted, the Island has a winter population of under 500 people.
