This is coming off the east side of the Rialto Bridge - the markets
are ahead and to the right
Thursday continued
Crossing the Rialto Bridge, we entered first the Erberia
(Vegetable Market) and after a short walk, the Pescheria (Fish Market).
These markets have been located near the banks of the Grand Canal for nearly
1,000 years. They have diminished in size, but are still a neat place to
see some of the real Venice.

The busiest time in the Rialto Markets is just after dawn, but they
were still interesting at 10AM
